WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VERSIONS ? the only difference is the type of bulbs housed in the lamp heads. Gold lamps are preferred by most customers because they last up to 5 times longer then red bulbs, and emit gold-tinged infra-red light, which lends the heater more to producing a pleasant illumination on the table below. Those with red heaters can purchase gold bulbs should they wish to convert it to gold light in the future
