SOLID COPPER AND BRASS the lanterns oil well is made from solid copper. All gold components are made from solid brass, including the wick housing and 3mm gauge handle
ENTIRELY HAND-MADE each piece is made by hand, thus no two are strictly the same. In the picture featured (left) you will notice a slight asymmetry in the glass chimney, due to it being blown manually. Such "perfect imperfections" add to the charm of the lantern
WIND RESISTANT the glass chimney means the lantern produces a flicker free, uninterrupted light. Outdoor oil lanterns with exposed flames suffer with constant flickering and sometimes total extinguishment
ADJUSTABLE FLAME HEIGHT use the wick wheel on the wick encasement to adjust the flame height and brightness
RUNS ON ALL LAMP AND TORCH OILS the Wind-Fender Classic will run on all modern torch and lamp oils, including citronella. We recommend smokeless oils for both outdoor and indoor use, because it provides a more pleasant, soot free flame for just a little extra cost. However, this does not mean that the lamp won't run on on less refined fuels. The heavy duty wick is designed to accept raw Kerosene Paraffin as a fuel source
USE INDOORS ASWELL AS OUTDOORS the lantern will grace the indoor dining table as well, assuming a smokeless oil is used

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT REAL COPPER AND BRASS as to be expected with solid copper and brass, the metal tarnishes over time. You can choose to polish the metal to retain its lustre, or allow it to mature and gain a natural patina. This is down to personal choice, although those wanting lustrous metal must understand that this means some careful "elbow grease" is required from time-to-time
