The Helix Sphere is made from a multitude of hand-aligned twisted-steel strands, offering a strikingly different visual option for a garden sphere. Holding literally hundreds of helix's, the steel strands create contrasting micro-pockets of shade and reflected light, creating the fascinating surface texture that makes the Helix Sphere the unique sculpture that it is. This is a wonderful experiment with form, texture, light, and material composition

LIMITED EDITION gw designs have declared this a limited edition sculpture. The date of discontinuation is pending and we will make this available in due course
CRAFTED BY HAND each Helix Sphere has been interwoven and shaped by hand - a testament to the true uniqueness of the sculpture
POWDER-COATED TWISTED STEEL the twisted-steel strands are powder-coated black. In time the steel will oxidise, adding age and character to the sculpture

MAINTENANCE NOTES maintenance of this product is generally not required at all. We recommend you allow it to age gracefully, although some customers have chosen to re-spray the spheres with black stove paint
