Delivery And Returns

Delivery Time-Scales

All of our product pages should advertise the expected delivery time - if any of them don't, please do let us know and we'll be happy to find out for you. The majority of our products have a 5 day lead time, but please be sure to check the advertised lead time information, because there are a significant number of UK-produced items which are made-to-order. These products can have a lead time of up to 28 days

All Prices Include Free Delivery

All of our prices include free delivery and we're pleased to say there are no unpleasant surprises when you come to the end of the check-out process within our shopping cart. "The price you see is the price you pay", as the saying goes

If You Need A Fast Delivery, We May Be Able To Help

We try to keep things simple by offering a free standard service, but we're always happy to help where we can if you need something in a hurry. Send us a message or call us and we'll try our best for you

Your Free Delivery Includes Insurance, But Please Don't Be Caught Out

Insurance is included with your free delivery, so in the unfortunate event of damages we can take recourse with the courier. The most important action in validating this insurance is to check the goods on arrival before signing for them in good condition. If you or the delivery person don't have time to check the goods, simply ask to sign for the parcel with "unchecked" status. The delivery driver is obliged to assist you in doing this, no matter how busy he/she is

We Operate Within Mainland UK Only, But If You're From Outside The UK We May Be Able To Help

All of the products we advertise are for delivery within Mainland UK Only (England, Scotland and Wales). If you are from overseas and are interested in our products you are very welcome to get in touch - we'll try our best to help. If you live in the Channel Islands we can say that we have many customers who place orders and have goods sent to specialist freight forwarders within mainland UK. Our customers in the Channel Islands tend to have freight-forwarding accounts with Ship 2 Me and Highway Express Ltd (Heysham); we have found the logistics process to run smoothly with these companies

We Send Useful Emails To You As Your Order Progresses

Our order status system is quite efficient in keeping customers informed of the progress of an order. Each time someone here changes your order status an email is sent to you, from the point at which we confirm receipt, to the point we despatch your goods and release funds. Most made-to-order items come direct from source, so for these product you may notice a more staggered fulfillment process while we convey information into our system. If you feel you need an update on progress of your made-to-order item from a real person, please don't hesitate to call us. Most of the time we are aware of our customers with special orders, and will be able to inform you fairly promptly on progress

Returns - Feel Free To Change Your Mind

If you want to return your item/s for any reason, you are most welcome to within 14 days. Let us know your intention to return via email or telephone and we'll send you the appropriate instructions for your particular product. Once we receive your returned goods, in the same new condition you received them, we will refund you within 14 days of receipt. While legislation allows us 14 days to refund money on returns, it is most likely to be much sooner than this. Please note that we currently do not carry the cost of return postage under these circumstances, but we do fully commit to providing free delivery to your door whether you decide to return or not

Returns - Made-To-Order Items, Bespoke Items, Bulky Goods

Ordering any of the above requires real thought before placing an order with us, as the same rules and expectations do not apply. Made-to-order and bespoke items are made especially for you, and thus returns are not accepted if you change your mind on receiving your goods, or after production of your goods has commenced. Bulky goods of high volume or heavy weight also require serious thought before placing an order with us. If you change your mind on receipt, remember that you will be responsible for the charges associated to returning the goods to us, and these charges can be very high, especially for palletised items. We do not want to scare customers about placing orders for such items, as most of the time a firm decision has been made before buying. However, we do strongly advise that you don't make a purchase of such items if there is any element of doubt in your mind about suitability. We can always help you with your decision to prevent a major disappointment. Returns - Damaged, Faulty, Or Incorrect Goods

If you receive damaged goods, please inform us within 48 hours and we will use the insurance included in your free delivery to make a claim with the courier and issue a replacement or refund. We must emphasise that your reporting window is strictly set at 48 hours to stay within the insurance policies of our couriers. If you receive goods that are faulty or incorrect, please do let us know and we will have them collected for a replacement or full refund. Sometimes we do make mistakes, but we will work hard to put things right on those rare occasions when things go wrong
