The Viking Fire Pit is Viking by name, and completely Viking by nature. The fire bowl is made from hefty 3mm gauge steel, and held within a web of thick interlinked high tensile steel rods. The eyelets within these rods are responsible for the viking-like design aspect of the product. Hand-made in the UK by skilled metallurgists, the Viking possesses the British robustness and quality that is rarely rivalled by its imported counterparts
MADE IN THE UK hand-made in the UK by skilled metallurgists, the Viking is firmly built for its task
SERIOUSLY HEAVY GAUGE STEEL the fire bowl is 3mm thick, where the industry average for a steel fire pit or barbecue is just 0.6mm! The Viking has been built to feature in your garden for a life time. This is a product for those seeking to invest in British quality
OPTIONAL BARBECUE RACK purchase the optional barbecue rack to keep you and your guests warm on the inside, as well as on the outside! The rack is hand-made from high grade 316 stainless steel and covers approximately 2/5 of the fire bowl area
METRICS diameter = 90cm; fire bowl depth = 23cm; total standing height = 48cm
WARNING - EXTREMELY HEAVY this fire pit is very heavy indeed, and caution must be taken when taking delivery and relocating it. This requires at least 3 people of good strength and health
GRACEGUL AGEING it won't take long for the fire pit to oxidise. The steel is so thick that it has absolutely no impact on the fire pits long term durability, so simply leave it outside and enjoy it when you come to use it. Some customers like the oxidised appearance, others prefer to periodically apply a black stove paint to give the fire pit a more "polished" appearance

Arrived on a pallet, so had to lift it off and take it to my patio area. It's heavy, and that's a good thing because it's built for the job. The workmanship is good - you can tell it is made in a proper forge and by hand. The metal is finished nicely and has a nice grain to it. It came with a patina oil on it to bring out the metal and to make it visually impressive on arrival. The heat it throws out is serious, and I am no scientist but I would say that the thick bowl is responsible for this. Happy with it.

I buy British - this country has enough Chinese crud. I pay more to buy British, but it never disappoints. My Viking Fire Pit has arrived, and has met my expectations
