MADE FROM FOUR-SEASONS TERRAZZO all terrazzo surfaces are made from four-seasons terrazzo. Four-seasons terrazzo uses crushed black granite as a base, which is set in a high pressure mould using a resin and mortar bonding agent. Once set, the surfaces are machine-polished to create flawless, impervious surfaces that are highly durable. The "four seasons" aspect of the process is derived from the fact that the granite can contain tiny interpolations of other naturally occurring granite colours, ranging from pink, grey, green and blue. From a short distance the furniture looks a homogenous black colour, but on close inspection of the surface reveals the interpolations that show you that the furniture is made from natural, igneous granite

DURABILITY COMES AS STANDARD terrazzo tables can be left outside all year round and expected to stand the test of time. They do not rot, as wood does, and they are significantly less susceptible to frost attrition over their plain mortar-stone counterparts. The same ethos applies to the optional seating, which is for all-year-round outdoor use. The stool is made from the same terrazzo stone, and the hand-woven chairs are made from polycarbonate wicker on an aluminium frame

MAINTENANCE all surfaces can be cleaned with a damp, soapy cloth. During winter cover the table to protect from minus temperatures

SET UP tables are delivered in two sections. The customer positions the table on its base and secures it with screws. This process is ideally executed by three people of average strength. Coach screws and instructions are included
