QUALITY COMPOSITION the main body of the fire pit is powder-coated fabricated steel, housing a burner unit and feed-in tubes made from marine grade 316 stainless steel. The remaining stainless steel components are high grade 304, for an assurance of quality and longevity. SET-UP comes complete with lava rock and 4 metres of hose to connect to a gas bottle regulator (not supplied). The Vega produces intense heat, so care needs to be taken when positioning it on sensitive surfaces. On decking and grass for example, the fire pit would need to stand on top of a standard 60 x 60cm patio slab to protect these surfaces
