The Sunchaser Elite Solar Fountain is not the same as other solar fountains on the market today. This is the first system to utilise a separate battery-incorporated control housing, giving it greater capability and functionality than any other solar fountain we know of. The large, high capacity solar panel continually feeds the control unit with energy. At this point, you choose exactly what happens with this energy, and even when it happens. CONSTANT MODE WITH CUT-OUT in constant mode the fountain runs non-stop. If the battery power falls below a safe level, the system cuts out, and waits for the sun to recharge it
TIMER MODE set the pump and uplighters to operate at the time of day of your choice, for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours. You may want to allow the fountain to charge during the day and come on in the evening, for example. This is a perfect function for people who work all day, but want the fountain to be working at full potential when they are there to enjoy it
VARIABLE FLOW VALVE use the simple dial on the control unit to adjust the flow rate from 50 lph to an astonishing 850 lph. This means you have complete control of the fountain height and power consumption
LED UPLIGHTER OPTION the l.e.d uplighter provides a point of intrigue when using the fountain at night, and serves to partially illuminate the fountain spray. This is a modular system, so you can choose to detach the light, thus diverting all the power to the pump
FLOAT OR SUBMERSE use the polyfoam float to operate the pump in any depth of pond. Without the float the pump operates like any conventional pond fountain pump or water feature pump
BRUSHLESS PUMP MOTOR the pump utilises the latest brushless technology, giving it significant efficiency and reliability advantages over its brushgear counterparts
SOLAIRE-TECH AMORPHOUS SOLAR PANEL this high capacity crystal-silicon solar cell is designed for high yields per sq inch, with special emphasis on durability. The frame is made from aluminium (not plastic), and the surface/encapsulant is polyvinyl butyral (not glass)
TOTALLY WATER-PROOF the entire system is designed for outdoor use. the control housing doesn't have to be stored in a sheltered environment
OPERATING CONDITIONS as with all solar products in our fountain and lighting range, the best performance is attained from April through to August. The solar panel requires strong and direct sunlight to charge; normal daylight is not enough. Please consider this information before making your purchase
