The Solar Secure V2 Professional solar security light is a piece of solar technology in a class of its own, providing performance that will genuinely match that of a mains halogen light. This is achieved firstly through the V2's solar module, manufactured using RWE's finest high density mono crystalline solar cells. This solar panel is so sensitive it is not restricted to absorbing sunlight radiation, but will also convert normal grey daylight to electrical energy. This means that enough energy is generated to power the second component involved in this light's outstanding performance - the 45 LED lamp head. This offers an immeasurable performance boost over the Solar Secure V1 Domestic, which has 3 LED's. WHO USES THIS PRODUCT ? this is a solution for busy arenas requiring ample illumination. This could include public passageways, driveways, frequently used steps, or other locations requiring high performance, even in winter. The product has had particular appeal to local councils, hotels and public houses
OPERATION PRINCIPLE using the supplied wall brackets the solar panel is fixed in a sunny location, the light in the area requiring illumination at night. During the day the solar panel feeds the light's battery pack (via 4.5m of cable) with electricity, thus charging it ready to operate at night
EXPENSIVE, BUT CHEAP !! we have had customers explaining to us that this is a far cheaper option than a mains powered halogen lamp. By the time a qualified electrician has installed an electric equivalent, the total costs can amount to £ 180 or more. Then there are the long term costs to consider, associated to running an inefficient halogen lamp which wastes more energy producing heat than creating light

ADJUST THE ILLUMINATION PERIOD adjust the PIR sensor to trigger the illumination time from 10 seconds to 70 seconds
ADJUST THE PIR LIGHT SENSITIVITY choose exactly at what level of light the movement sensor starts to trigger the light. Some people prefer operation from dusk, others from pitch-blackness
RWE HIGH DENSITY SOLAR PANEL the high density solar panel (RWE, Germany) allows it to be compact, yet supply the 2.5 watt current required to charge the battery pack
