This selection of Cretan Jug Water Features are perfect for those looking for a charming, subtle water feature, which at the same time exudes the refinement and quality engendered in traditional Cretan terracotta. Each jug is hand-made in Crete using traditional techniques that date back to the Potters' Minoan ancestors, which means a painstaking production process lasting 5 days per jug. We would have to agree that the arduous production process is well worth it - it reflects in the beauty of the product

COMPLETE KIT WITH PUMP AND PEBBLE POOL INCLUDED each jug comes complete with a high performance Oase pump (with required fittings) for installation on to the supplied 76cm pebble pool (we sell the pebble pool separately for £ 44.99). Some practical ability is required to install the pebble pool in to the ground click here to view pebble pool
FROST GUARANTEED the clay used in production is carefully selected and fired to the incredible temperature of 1150°C, making the pottery extremely hardy. This means that each jug is frost guaranteed (provided that the winter care guidelines are followed correctly)
PRODUCED BY HAND remember, the jugs are painstakingly produced by skilled potters who work very much within a cottage industry. No two urns are the same, and you will notice slight variations of colour in the glaze. These minor differences contribute to the natural beauty of the product
INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS (1) the pebble pool has to be installed in to the ground; we do not recommend a free-standing installation (2) the pump comes with 10 metres of cable which needs to be run through strong conduit to the electricity supply
