This Replacement Pump And Panel For Solar Water Features won't just bring your solar water feature back to life, but up to date with the latest solar technology. The clever people at Sunchaser have not only created a system that has greater yields per sq inch, but it also incorporates a battery buffer mechanism. If the sun goes behind a cloud, the integral photo-sensor diverts the power source to the solar battery, which stores residual energy on the sunnier days
CONVERTS YOUR FEATURE TO BATTERY BACK-UP some solar water features don't incorporate a battery buffer facility, so the water stops flowing when the sun goes in. The Sunchaser pump converts your solar water feature to a system with a battery buffer, allowing seamless operation. Don't let a cloud prevent you from enjoying the sound of running water
USE AS A WATER FEATURE PUMP many of our customers use the pump for their own DIY water feature. As long as the pump doesn't have to work over 45cm head, it is very effective
INCLUDES ATTACHMENTS FOR USE AS A FOUNTAIN the kit includes fountain spout and fountain heads, so it can also be used as a normal pond or pebble pool fountain pump click here to view
WORKS WITH MOST SOLAR WATER FEATURES we have yet to find a solar water feature this pump does not work with, but it is important to follow our suitability instructions below
SUITABILITY this pump works with all standard size solar water features (as pictured). For particularly large water features it is important to check that the output achieved by the Sunchaser pump (180 lph) is the same or more than your old system
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) remove old pump from your water feature by releasing the clasp (if any) and sliding the hose off the pump outlet. If the hose is too tight to release the pump, you may need to cut the hose with a sharp blade, but only if this leaves enough length for the new pump to operate (2) using the original hose, slide it over the outlet on the Sunchaser pump. You may need to use washing up liquid to lubricate both hose and pump outlet. Failing this, applying hot water to the tube can give it the flexibility required to allow the pump outlet to slide in to position
